About Quaker Steps
Our thermoplastic steps are created with the structural integrity to withstand the elements. Not only is the strength built into the stair itself, every stair has a support system which is also set in concrete. The stairs are vacuum-formed from a single sheet of ABS plastic.
The patented, skillfully designed elements that make up Quaker Steps are created with safety, easy and accessible installation, and durability in mind. Our steps are constructed with a thermoformed step mold and sections that attach such as our patented Radius Corner Stair Mount Face Plate, color-matched Pre-Punched Gaskets, Trim Strip, and Deadend Block. All sections can be seamlessly removed, replaced, or initially installed to adapt to the overall pool aesthetic, pool shape, and condition of the foundation. This flexibility makes the Quaker Step ideal for new pool builds and renovation projects. Not only are our steps ideal for pool professionals on job sites, but they also ensure Customers feel secure and confident in their step choice. Each step is thermoformed and constructed to remain strong and reliable for the lifetime of the pool, while maintaining flexibility to withstand freezing and thawing.
Our Lock Down Bleacher System™ is preassembled at the factory so there are no lost nuts or bolts. Step support posts simply snap down and lock into place. The molded bottom shoes easily flip to the horizontal position and the stair is ready for installation. Precision-engineered leveling support posts and bottom shoes are permanently hinged at the factory to a “Ridg-A-Dized” support channel, strategically located under each tread. Leveling and support posts, along with the support shoes, are pre-drilled for rebars. Install rebar through the holes, cover with concrete, and the step is ready for final leveling before concrete hardens. No blocks, no nuts or bolts, no make-shift leveling/support methods, no costly labor or materials. The result: Level steps with bleacher-type stability, strength, and support.
