The Cardinal Story
Cardinal, the first division established within Cardinal Systems, Inc. was founded in 1976 by Warren “Mickey” Bradley as a small, simple business with a passion for manufacturing. The operation started in a modest 5,000 square foot garage with only one shear, a press brake, a punch press, and 2 employees. With advancements in manufacturing technology, an increasing demand, product innovation and acquisition, and continuous business development, Cardinal is now one of the world’s largest and most technologically advanced manufacturers in the swimming pool industry. For almost 50 years and three generations of family ownership, Cardinal has remained committed to seeking out and applying the most efficient manufacturing processes to provide Builders, Contractors, and Architects with products to enhance any outdoor living space. What was once a small garage and a dream is now a 360,000 square foot manufacturing facility with plans to continue growing and expanding its operations.
